Ryut was decimated by the Manhunters during their rebellious rage through the universe, and it was left a dead, barren planet.
The Black Lantern's core power battery formed around the dead corps of the Anti-Monitor and eventually, one lantern from each corps except black and white, are sent along with two guardians of the universe to destroy it. when the group reach the place where the power battery once was, they find that it has already been taken, supposedly by Nekron, to Coast City on earth.
The Black lantern power battery is no longer located on earth.
